an update

It started last week, with the snow. And now we're on our 3rd puzzle. We were getting a bit bored of television and being stuck inside so one day I pulled out a puzzle. Omar (Alfredo's papa) had never really put one together and now he's hooked. And the best part is that this gentle pastime is bringing us all a bit closer together.

Omar found a job and started this week. It seems like a really nice place and he's fitting in nicely. Alfredo and I popped in this morning and were treated to a free breakfast sandwich. Isn't that nice?

Hope you're having a good day...things are going so great around here. Alfredo is positively thriving, saying the most amazing things I've ever heard from a 3 year old. Really...you wouldn't believe the things he says. And we just started classes at The Little Gym and he looks like he's getting ready for the Olympics the way he swings on the rings and balances on the beam. Thanks for letting me brag a little.

Brag all you want, my friend! I love hearing about how well Alfredo is doing. I cannot express how happy I am to know that you and Rich are making such a positive difference in that little boy's life. So glad his papa got a job and is getting settled!

I love hearing about Alfredo too. :) Three seems to be a fun age. Mine are almost two and they're at a fun age too, but I think one year will make such a difference in doing a bit more (like puzzles and such). So happy to hear his Papa has a job and that he enjoys it too. Love love the blog update! xo

Oh, and gymnastics is wonderful for little ones. I used to coach gymnastics and it's so good for their coordination, balance and more. I used to be a state champion gymnast too. :) How's that for bragging?? HA!

My youngest daughter loves puzzles too. It touches me so when I get a few pieces together and she praises me the way I did when she was younger, too cute. So happy to hear the pieces of your family are also fitting together so nicely! Valerie
