the chicks

Four Shabby Chicks are having their once monthly sale this weekend. If you are in the area, you really should go. It's chockful of eyecandy.

Ann and I did two rooms at their Loudoun Street Annex. One room is a little boy's bedroom all done up in red, white, and blue. The other is a retro kitchen.

Wow, what eye candy! I hope their sale is a successful one. Oh how I wish I could be there to take advantage of this opportunity.

It's all so beautiful but what, oh, what are those adorable little faces popping out of the toaster? I love them! Do you remember the old cartoons where the kitchen appliances would talk and all have adorable faces? They might have been in between the older Bugs Bunny cartoons -- I think I suffered through Bugs to see cartoons like that! I love the idea of everything in the kitchen being sweet and cheery and maybe singing a little song while you work...
